No this is not an old picture from last Halloween.  It’s from today.

You see my youngest child Marc is very active and loves to pretend play. So when we bought this Super Mario brother costume two Halloweens ago I wasn’t surprised when he wanted to wear it after Halloween.  I didn’t think he would still be wearing it but hey I’m not opposed to it because he’s definitely getting our moneys worth all while enjoying himself.

I love his ability to be himself and enjoy his freedom as a kid. He often tells me to “calm down it’s going to be OK”. And he’s right. I need to loosen up and be free a little more often. 

I love when I can learn from my kids.
